Chapati

Made my first chapati (a type of Indian bread eaten with dhal or curry) on Saturday. Used buckwheat flour instead of wheat flour to avoid gluten. Buckwheat flour need like a buckwheat:water ratio of 1:5 instead of wheatflour:water ratio of 3:1; so there were lots of experimenting; re-watering re-flouring during the kneading process.

The result?

Tasted and looked like cardboard ..kakaka...but hej...it's good enough for me...and it was salvaged by my not-too-bad dhall. ;)
