One effect of radiotherapy to the head is hair loss. If you have watched those movies about victims of radioactive effect, they can grab and pull out clumps of their hair effortlessly!

That's happening to me. Hair was dropping like rain; hair is getting into my mouth, hair on my face, hair on my pillow...so instead of waiting for my hair to drop on me, I decided to drop them first. Joseph my hairdresser sportingly opened his shop at 8.30am to shave my head. He has to go somewhere else on Friday so gave this special early opening. I think that's the earliest time of the day I had a haircut!
